In which time zone will the Congress be held?
The 17-ICML will be held in Central European Summer Time (CEST). Virtual attendees can convert their time zone here.
What is the official language of the congress?
The official language is English. Translation services are not provided.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
17-ICML participants will be able to download the certificate of attendance from the Conference Platform (“My Profile” section) from June 17, after having filled out the evaluation form.
Is 17-ICML accredited with European CME?
17-ICML is not accredited with European CME.
Is there a 17-ICML App?
There is no App for the 17-ICML. The Conference Platform is the only tool through which participants (on-site and virtual) will find all Conference-related contents.
The Conference Platform will remain open to registered participants until December 15, 2023, to allow attendees to find Conference resources, including on-demand video recordings.

How can I participate to Q&A/Polls?
For online attendees: you can submit your questions to the faculty members by using the chat tool on the right of the live streaming page related to the session you are following. Questions will be selected by the chairs and submitted to the speakers. The same tool is available for Polls.
For on-site attendees: To send a question or answer to a Poll you will need to scan the QR code displayed on the screen during Q&A/Polls. You will be directly led to the relevant Q&A/Poll tool on the Conference Platform.

What type of equipment is required and which Internet browser should be used?
A computer or other device such as a tablet or smartphone is required.

Is there any recommendation on the Wi-Fi speed?
It is advised that you have a 5 – 10 MB/s connection speed so that live streamed videos run smoothly. You can check your connection here (https://www.speedtest.net).

Is it possible to use a VPN connection?
Logging into your VPN when accessing the Conference Platform should be avoided, as this can slow down your bandwidth and impact the live streaming content.
Is there any recommendation on Ad Blockers?
It is recommended to disable ad blockers that may prevent the loading of content and the opening of new tabs.
Can the firewall affect the Platform performance?
Firewalls may limit the speed or block some connections. It is recommended to check the connection and do the stream test available in the navigation menu of the Conference Platform (Test your internet connection).
What can I do if the resolution of the streaming is not working good?
The streaming is automatically adapted to the resolution that your device can ensure. If you want to change the resolution of the streaming manually, you can select the resolution that better suits your device at the bottom of the streaming window.
Is it necessary to enable cookies?
Session cookies are mandatory.

Where can the Scientific Program be found?
The Scientific Program can be navigated in our website (www.icml.ch) or can be accessed by clicking on the “Scientific Program” button in the Lobby of the Conference Platform. The Scientific Program can be filtered by day, by speaker and by session type.
The Abstract and the Educational books are accessible from both the Conference Platform and the website.
For on-site attendees, the Scientific Program is also available in printed format (Program Book). A printed copy of the Educational Book is included in the delegate bag distributed on-site.

When are Satellite Symposia scheduled and how are they accessible?
For on-site attendees, Independent Satellite Symposia will take place on Tuesday, June 13 and in the late afternoon of Wednesday 14, Thursday 15 and Friday 16.
The symposia will be performed in-person and streamed live via the Conference Platform, while recordings will be available on-demand after the Conference (unless otherwise requested) until Friday, December 15, 2023.
The Symposia will be open to all participants registered to the Conference, but both physical and virtual attendance to each symposium may be restricted by the organizing Company's own policies.

For on-site attendees, after collecting the badge at the Registration or at the self-check-in Desks you may pick up a delegate bag available at the cloakroom, by showing the badge paper. In the delegate bag, on-site participants will also find a printed copy of the Education Book.
